[2008championships] Country & Western Band for Regionals

I am cc'ing this response through the email list as well so a couple of you
might get it twice.   Please sign up if you have not done so, I believe I
sent all the board a invite along with everyone listed here.  And am having
Lee Ann run the email list in the newsletter to get the volunteers to join. 
I hope it will help keep all the email compiled for the 2008 Championships,
and keep everyone in tune with the volunteers and what's going on etc.....  
 
We have had 3 submittals so far in addition to : piaffing across the plains.

1. Leather and Lace (Diane Smith)
2. Dressage UP!  (aka Cowboy up) (Rita Glen)
3. Top hats dance with "Stetsons".  (Joy Quinn) may pertain to the line
dancing  instead of slogan. 
 
If anymore come in, I will gather them and get them posted.

Hi!
I am so covered up with work right now, but just checking in because I got a
confirmation on this today.  I am doing a website for a band named "Jack
Rowdy"...and they are a local country & western band that is very
entertaining, and very professional.  I told Ron...the business manager of
the band...what we needed...and he is the lead singer, and his significant
other is a FANTASTIC line dancer.  So, between the band, the lead singer and
their help...they would be HAPPY to spend time with all of us while
performing to teach us all the fine art of line dancing.  I will send you a
link to the site & his myspace page as soon as I get there...probably early
next week.

And they are booked like 8 months in advance, so this is good that we have
their interest now.  

Also, have we had any luck with our 'slogan'?  I will have time to work on
the brochure for marketing next week, and we'll need to have a good idea of
what that slogan is to be able to make progress on the brochure (and
everything else).

And, Susie, could you scan & email me a copy of a brochure for regionals
that has been done before?  That will help tons.
